Worlds of Wonder is a Girl Scout day camp taking place at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Broomfield from July 27 – 31, 2019 from 9am – 3:30pm.

Adult volunteers are needed to help this camp be successful – and your scout gets to attend camp for free if you volunteer for the week! See the volunteer link for more information.

Campers will have a lot of fun at this mostly indoor camp where they will create quality craft projects, including a service project for the community. They will also work together on group projects, learn new songs and games and much more!  The camp and all activities are planned by volunteers and Program Aides. Campers will bring their own lunch and a small snack; an afternoon snack will also be provided.

The camp is appropriate for girls entering kindergarten – 5th grade. Each group of girls at camp is led by an adult Unit Leader and one or more PAs.  Girls can request to be placed with troop members or friends, although not all requests can be accommodated.

Girls who are entering 6th grade to 12th grade will be part of a separate unit of camp trainees.  Activities for the older girls will introduce them to the Program Aide program or reinforce prior Program Aide training. These girls will have their own challenges, and they will be planning activities for the younger girls to try, which will complete Program Aide Intern hours.  This option is available for girls whether or not they have completed their LIA (Leader in Action) or PA training.

Camp is open to girls who have not been in a troop previously, but all girls must be registered with Girl Scouts of Colorado prior to the start of camp.
