Registration for Program Aides and Program Aide Interns is by application and is open now! PA’s and PAI’s must be able to meet the following requirements:
- Be registered with Girl Scouts as a troop member or Juliette
- Be going into 6th grade, at minimum, and have completed your council training and LIA prior to camp
- Be able to attend at least 3 out of 4 camp planning meetings 4/7 and 5/5 3pm – 5pm at the Cross of Christ Church in Broomfield, 6/8 1pm – 5pm Metzger Farm, 6/23 3pm – 5pm Cross of Christ Church. (6/8 and 6/23 are preferred)
- Communicate with your unit leader to get the names of the girls in your unit
- Obtain a shirt of your unit’s color
- Be able to attend a post-camp meeting on Wednesday July 9 from 6:30pm – 8pm in Broomfield
- Pay your fee of $50, which will cover your activity fees and administrative costs
- Be able to attend camp from 8:15 am – 4:00 pm June 24 – 28
- Be willing to work with a group of girls, create kaper charts and provide help where needed
- Be willing to lead songs and activities
- Join the Facebook group for this camp to post pictures and share information (optional, depending on your parent’s permission)
- Complete the PA hours worksheet to have your unit leader sign off
- Be ready to follow the Girl Scout Promise and Law and be a role model to everyone at camp
We know it’s a lot to ask, and unfortunately if you cannot meet these requirements we will not be able to have you as a PA or PAI at camp. Health History – the easiest way to get this to us is to email a pdf of your existing form to camplikeagirlscout@gmail.com. We need to have the completed form one month before camp: Girl’s Health History form
